Wing Night
Our annual Wing Night event at Weaver Cave Preserve in Anniston, AL is all about bats! Our evening begins with our speaker discussing the natural history of these fascinating creatures—their incredible survival stories and their unique relationship with Weaver Cave. As the sun sets, we’ll be treated to the main event: the incredible sight of thousands of bats emerging from the cave for their nightly foray! Home to over 12,000 endangered gray bats in summer and more than 600 tricolored bats in winter, protecting Weaver Cave plays a crucial role in the conservation of these remarkable species.
