Event Sponsorship
Your sponsorship supports conservation events and furthers our mission of enriching life through land protection.
Why Sponsor?
Each year, the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust (GALT) hosts numerous community events highlighting the importance of conserving land for future generations of people and wildlife. By sponsoring, you and your organization can have a tremendous impact on conservation in the Southeast.
Exciting events like Wing Night provide community members with the opportunity to experience firsthand the power of land conservation efforts, while events like Cave Tour and our wildflower walks provide the opportunity to recreate while connecting with the landscape.
Our events also provide a valuable space for landowners to meet like-minded individuals, engage with GALT staff, and better understand the easement process—often through firsthand stories from those who have already protected their land.
Additionally, our continuing education classes are critical for keeping landowners and the professionals who work with landowners abreast of current laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. We also use the classes to showcase new technologies and trends related to conservation.
As a sponsor, you’ll be featured on signage at events, recognized in our annual Conservationist Magazine that is sent to over 1,000 recipients, and acknowledged in emails sent to our supports, landowners, and professional contacts (attorneys, CPAs, realtors, appraisers, etc). Your support not only advances conservation but also demonstrates your commitment to protecting the future. Thank you for being part of this important work!

Our annual Wing Night event at Weaver Cave Preserve in Anniston, AL is all about our resident, endangered gray bats!
Our evening begins with our speaker discussing the natural history of these fascinating creatures—their incredible survival stories and their unique relationship with Weaver Cave. As the sun sets, participants will be treated to the main event: the incredible sight of thousands of bats emerging from the cave for their nightly foray!
Home to over 12,000 endangered gray bats in summer and more than 600 tricolored bats in winter, protecting Weaver Cave plays a crucial role in the conservation of these remarkable species.
